Qveen Herby’s Isle of Qveen mystical tour docked in St. Louis
— by Carrie Zukoski
Whether you’re a “Housewife,” Medicine Woman,” “High Priestess,” “Sugar Daddy,” or whatever other moniker, there’s space at a Qveen Herby concert to be your authentic self. And those authentic selves are exactly who showed up loud and proud at Tuesday night’s St. Louis concert at The Pageant.
The entry line wrapped around both sides of The Pageant with eager fans of all ages and sexes, many decked out in their best funky fashions adorned with sequins, glitter, and more for the fourth night of the Isle of Qveen 2026 tour to support Qveen Herby’s February album release of the same name.
But before Qveen Herby took the adoring fans on an adventure cruise, Flint, Michigan’s Thot Squad, aka Blvck Bunnie aka Sophie Hunter, churned out 45-minutes of their hip-hop rap while mixing in positive affirmations throughout. A large neon Thot Squad acrylic sign adorned with giant, colorful Peeps served as a backdrop. Donning a brilliant white wig, lace-up white spiked boots, argyle socks, and a baby-doll-like outfit, Thot Squad came out strong and didn’t let up the entire set. Known for their raw, brash, confident style, the explosive tracks with expletive lyrics pumped up the nearly-packed house. Once the wig came off, showcasing long, blonde braids, things got a little crazy. At one point, they showed that they can hold a note. Thot Squad broke out pom poms and later declared their dream of being a lounge singer before delving into the not-so-loungy, rapid-fire “C U Later.” They ended on the layered, danceable “Bum Bitch.”
After about 30 minutes, Qveen Herby’s part theatrical, part musical, part concert began. Appearing silhouetted behind a simple white screen, Qveen began the night’s cruise with the quirky, poppy, catchy, hip-hop “Sensational” from Isle of Qveen. She then appeared starboard in a bright green raincoat and bright red thigh-high boots on the SS Qveen, with a teensy Captain Jack Sparrow aboard to guide the way, while singing the sinfully, sultry “Self Aware.” While searching for what’s next, Qveen slid into the easy, languid, “MY SZN,” before amping up to the bright beats and metronomic raps of “Vitamins.” Thot Squad joined in during an energetic “The Fool” that they and Qveen co-wrote. The cruise theme continued throughout the 75-minute concert with several outfit changes and stage props. And what cruise is complete without the sighting of a mermaid and one playing a blue ukulele at that? Qveen ensured that and other whimsical “MAGIC” happened for all her babes along on the journey.
Since 2017, Qveen Herby, aka the Nebraska-born Amy Renee Heidemann Noonan, has been bringing her life-affirming rap to audiences far and wide. The platinum-selling artist is known for her fashion style, confidence, and aura-cleansing, mystical, no-nonsense persona. Her concerts, full of visual and aural delights, engage and delight all walks of life.
While the concert ended with a three-song encore that included “Overnight” and the low-key “Mint,” the bewitching voyage continued for all the beautiful passengers who departed feeling empowered.
