The Offspring Show Was Super in Saint Louis Sunday

It was Super hot on Sunday in Saint Louis where the The Offspring brought their SUPERCHARGED Worldwide in ’25 Tour to make a stop at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater.  Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory are along for support.

Starting out with a bang, New Found Glory got the crowd pumped with hits including “My Friends Over You” and “All Down Hill from Here”. They are fresh off of signing with Pure Noise Records and performed their latest single “100%” with high intensity, proving they can still put on a great show.

Another burst of energy for the audience came when Jimmy Eat World came to the stage. Bandleader Jim Adkins looked and sounded like he did 20 years ago. They finished their set with the crowd pleasing hit from 2001 “The Middle”.

As soon as Jimmy Eat World wrapped, video screens began entertaining everyone with The Offspring trivia, “The Kids Aren’t Alright” video game, a mini-blimp, and shots of the audience on camera including a Headbang Cam, a Booty Cam, and a Kiss Cam. Two lucky girls in the audience won upgraded seats dead center in the front row for their Booty Cam antics.

The Offspring kicked off their set with the banger “Come out and Play”. The 1994 hit is still fire! Lead singer Dexter Holland, who has a PhD in molecular biology, would say “gotta keep ‘em separated” to himself while working with petri dishes in a lab.

The Offspring (Holland, Noodles on guitar, Todd Morse on bass, Jonah Nimoy on keyboards, and Brandon Pertzborn on drums) are touring in support of their latest album, Supercharged, their 11th studio album, which dropped last year and has gotten rave reviews.

The Offspring really brought the visuals to the audience as well. From lights, animation and video effects, each song brought something different. It was a rocking show with one ballad “Gone Away” then back to mega hits like “Pretty Fly for a White Guy” and “The Kids Aren’t Alright”. They finished the show with “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” and “Self Esteem” which wrapped up the night perfectly.
