Tim McGraw Brought the Hits to Enterprise Center Friday

Country superstar Tim McGraw made a stop in Saint Louis on his Standing Room Only Tour to perform at Enterprise Center in downtown Saint Louis Friday night. A large crowd greeted him and was ready to sing along to his numerous hits.

McGraw is touring in support of his latest album (his 17th), Standing Room Only, which was released last August.

McGraw performed many of his top hits over the course of his 90-minute set. His voice was in solid form and his backing band was tight and already in mid-tour form.

The show began with a silhouette of McGraw on a giant screen that was in front of his band for the first song before he came out to his raucous “Truck Yeah” to kick things off.

The songs chosen for this tour span nearly 30 years, from 1995’s “All I Want Is a Life” and ‘I Like It, I Love It” to last year’s “Standing Room Only”. He also brought back his ode to Elton John with 2004’s ‘Tiny Dancer”.

One of the highlights, and there were many, was a special appearance from Saint Louis’ favorite son, Nelly. Nelly came out to help McGraw sing the 2004 smash hit “Over and Over”. Needless to say the crowd went nuts.

McGraw’s shows never disappoint. His tour runs through the end of June and tickets are on sale now at Timmcgraw.com.
