Rock veterans and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Def Leppard and Journey will team up in 2024 for a co-headlining stadium tour which kicks off in Saint Louis Saturday, July 6 at Busch Stadium.

The tour will wind through 23 cities at 23 stadiums, through July and August, concluding September 8 at Coors Field in Denver.

The tour will feature Cheap Trick at the first two and last two shows of the tour, while Heart will open for three shows in the middle of the tour. The Steve Miller Band will open the other 16 shows.

For Def Leppard, this summer’s show will mark the third time the British rockers have performed at Busch. They were here with Motley Crue in July of 2022 and also in August of 2018 where they also shared the stage with Journey and Cheap Trick. But don’t expect this to be just a carbon copy of that killer show. Def Leppard vocalist Joe Elliott shared that the band’s set will celebrate specific parts of the rockers’ history. “We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves,” he said in a statement.

Elliott continued: “Def Leppard and Journey will be reuniting and hitting the road together for the Summer Stadium Tour with Steve Miller, Cheap Trick & Heart on select shows, which makes for an amazing night of music! Having just completed a sensational 18 month run promoting our Diamond Star Halos album, we shall hit the boards running with a brand-new stage show and set of songs that will celebrate specific parts of our history.

Journey, meanwhile, have been active road warriors, as well, with their 50th anniversary Freedom Tour February through April. The band is supporting their latest album Freedom. They added in the press release “We are thrilled to be back on the road in 2024 with so many good friends as part of this tour.  No matter which city you come to this will be an amazing night of music!”
