The kickoff to the inaugural Evolution Festival happens this weekend inside Forest Park in Saint Louis with a strong lineup that is sure to please even the most ardent music connoisseur.

The lineups for both days are impressive. On Saturday artists like Sugarhill Gang, Modern English, Brittany Howard, The Black Crows, and The Black Keys will kick off the weekend’s activities, while Sunday’s lineup features artists like Morgan Wade, Ice Cube, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, and Brandi Carlile.

The festival will encompass three different stages in order to provide a continual stream of live music.

The music begins at 3:00 pm each day on the Lindenwood University Stage.

The festival also features BBQ from some of the top smokehouses in the country and VIP appearances from acclaimed BBQ chefs like “Phil The Grill” Johnson, James “Boatright’s BBQ,” and Sugar Fire Pit Master Zach Dingman.

The festival is also spotlighting several world-class bourbons like Blood Oath, Rebel, and Extra Brooks, among many others.

To top it off the weather looks marvelous with a break from the oppressive heat wave the area is currently undergoing.
