Tool will return to Saint Louis for a performance at Enterprise Center Monday, May 13. The band announced a short U.S. Tour prior to their summer set in Europe, and fortunately Saint Louis made that short list.
Tickets are expected to sell quickly, so you shouldn’t wait to buy these when they go on sale this Friday at 10:00 am.
If you don’t know who the band is you must have been living under a rock the past 25 years.
Known for their vibrant song experimentation, visual artistics, and elaborate live shows Tool has encased itself in Music legendism (I made a new word, just for them). There is certainly a mystique surrounding the band, from their not releasing lyrics to lead singer Maynard James Keenan’s retreat into the shadows during live sets, and fans can’t get enough.
Fortunately, the band is finishing up new material to their long awaited follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days, yet have only teased that the yet unnamed record will be released “sometime between may and July”.
With Saint Louis being one of only ten cities to see the band before they jet off to Europe in June the hopes are high that they will introduce some new material during their stop here.
The only way to find out for sure is to get your tickets to the show.
Prices are $72, $92 & $122 and will be available at www.ticketmaster.com and www.toolband.com this Friday March 15 at 10:00 am.
