Rising country music star Sturgill Simpson announced tour dates this year that will include only a couple stops in the Midwest, namely Saint Louis, MO at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on September 21 and Chicago at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island the next night.
Simpson is up for a couple big Grammy Awards this Sunday for his album A Sailor’s Guide to Earth in the categories of Best Country Album and Album of the Year. He will also perform at the Grammy’s, which will be broadcast live on CBS at 7:00 PM CDT.
