The St. Louis Cardinals and Live Nation announced Thursday that rock and roll icon Billy Joel will perform at Busch Stadium on September 21.
The announcement, which took place at Fox Sports Live! inside Ballpark Village, brought the announcement that the Piano Man would perform his first solo concert at Busch Stadium. Joel had previously appeared at Busch Memorial Stadium (Busch II) with Elton John on their Face To Face Tour in 1994.

Grammy Awards, the third best-selling solo artist of all time, and an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The concert follows an annual run of huge concerts that have taken place at Busch Stadium in the past 10 years.
