Just when you thought live shows wouldn’t be a thing this summer Live Nation comes up with an innovative way to attend a show with safety in mind. Today, Live Nation announced their first ever U.S. drive-in concert series. The weekend of July 10-12 will feature three concerts each in three cites: St. Louis, Nashville, and Indianapolis.

No, these are NOT piped in shows from somewhere else. The artists will be in each location performing from the parking lot. Country superstar Brad Paisley will headline each weekend beginning with a show in St. Louis at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre parking lot July 10th before playing the next night in Nashville, and finishing up the 12th of July in Indianapolis.

Each city will then feature different shows from different artists. St. Louis will get shows from local artists Nelly and el Monstero, while Nashville will see performances from Jon Pardi and Darius Rucker. Indianapolis will get Yacht Rock Review as well as Jon Pardi.

The set up is simple, really, with fans purchasing a location in the parking lot that will be marked (though spaces are general admission, but sectioned off per price level). Each spot is 9ft by 18ft. To the right of each slot is an additional 9’x18′ space for tailgating (or just standing if you prefer) to watch the show. To the left of each car slot is another 9’x18′ space that will be designated off limits, while the rows in front are alternating, thus providing a decent amount of space for safety concerns.

Guests will be allowed to bring chairs, food, and drinks to party in their zones. You can also order food on a web-based menu and have it brought out to your space.  More event guidelines can be found at LiveNation.com/DriveIn.

Tickets will be available to purchase per car, with a maximum of four (4) people permitted per car. Please note in order to maintain social distancing, events will be limited capacity. Citi is the official presale credit card of Live From The Drive-In. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, June 23rd at 12pm local time until Thursday, June 25th at 10pm local time through Citi Entertainment®. For complete presale details visit www.citientertainment.com. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, June 26th at 10am local time at LiveNation.com/DriveIn. Season ticket holders get a presale beginning on June 24 at 10:00 am, while the Live Nation presale begins Thursday, June 25 at 10:00 am.
