May 25, 2018 couldn’t get here soon enough! I was stoked to see the line up for this Rock Out in honor of Memorial Day Weekend. The event was hosted by Filthy Nasty Productions at O’Connors Pub and Grill in Clarksville, Tennessee. Friday’s line-up held five amazing rock bands for us rockers to enjoy.
The doors for the back entrance opened promptly at 6pm where people waited patiently to get their ticket scanned and work their way to the stage. The little bit of rain that we were having didn’t stop these fans from working their way to the stage and holding their spot to enjoy the show.

First band up was Ashes Fall, from Chattanooga, TN and these guys definitely rocked their set and warmed us up for what was to come ahead.

Around 7:30pm our next entertainers took the stage. Killakoi was ready to rock with us. Once mic was up and ready, it was time for horns up and heads to be banging. The 4 piece group has been together now for 6 years and they are from Charlotte, NC. They have big touring plans this year as well as a couple new music videos just released and a new single called, “Pangea.”

The stage got a little more roaming room on it for our next band, the guys I came to see (because their music and their live performance will have you screaming for more), the boys from Las Vegas, NV….  OTHERWISE! The boys quickly took the stage and quickly had us jumping and singing along with their hits, “Angry Heart,” “Sleeping Lions,” and “Soldiers.” As you can see in some of these pictures, Adrian Patrick, the front man, pays very close attention to his audience. If he can get beside the fans and sing right beside them, he will, and he also makes time to point at the cameras below to make some cool photographs. And instead of throwing up fists or horns in the air, for a couple of their songs, we put our hands together to make “hearts.”

It was about 9pm and we still had two remarkable bands to listen to. Shaman’s Harvest, out of Jefferson City, Missouri was next up and their performance was a little slower than the other bands, but it matched their “blues” sound so perfectly! I don’t think I see many bands have 4 microphones lined up all in the front, but their set looks pretty cool and their performance was still very enjoyable. I mean how could you not enjoy hearing Nathan Hunt’s Vocals. He has such a unique sound that matches well with their genre.

Just after 10pm, the lights went out and the crowd screamed! Time for Nonpoint to run out and embrace us with their fast paced rock sound and screaming vocals! In their set, they included a few new songs which the fans definitely enjoyed! Even if you didn’t know any of their songs, it still is a great show to see. Front man Elias Soriano really engaged the audience and got us to throw up our horns and scream along. Everything was good. What a great Friday night to celebrate Rock Music and Memorial Day together. Hope this tradition continues.
