Country superstar Luke Bryan announced his 2017 version of his very popular Farm Tour, his ninth such endeavor.

While Bryan normally plays to packed houses throughout the country in big cities and large amphitheaters, he devotes a handful of dates each fall to perform in rural farming communities in an effort to bring awareness and support to the agriculture communities, and the farmers who feed America.

Bryan sets aside a chunk of the proceeds from the events to give out scholarships to students from the local farming community. 50 such awards have been handed out since the tour’s inception in 2009.

The tour begins September 28 in Lincoln, Nebraska at Benes Farm and zig-zags through the Midwest before ending up in Centralia, MO at Stowers Farm on October 7.

The fifth stop just happens to be at the Ayers Family Farm in Edinburg, IL (2535 North 800 East Rd)- just a few miles from where I grew up in Taylorville. To say this is a big event for the community is an absolute understatement.

Tickets for the general public go on sale June 2 at 10:00 am local time. There will be a Pre-sale for Nut House (Bryan’s fan club) members, users of Bryan’s app and Citi cardholders beginning on May 30; pre-sales through Spotify and radio stations will also be available on that date. Farm Tour sponsor (Bayer) pre-sales begin on June 1.

General admission tickets will be $49 in advance and $60 day of show. If the show sells out in advance no tickets will be sold at the gate.

For all six shows parking opens at 2:00 pm, doors will open at 5:00 pm with the show beginning at 6:00 pm. Parking is $5 in advance and $10 day of show.

Bryan’s Harvest Time VIP Experience will offer exclusive access to a VIP viewing area, private restrooms, a cash bar, charging station and a limited edition mini Bluetooth speaker.

Jon Pardi will appear as a special guest, and more acts are said to be announced later.
